Book Blogger New Year's Challenge - January 1, 2014.

Book Blogger New Year's Challenge

1. My Blogger Resolutions - I stopped making resolutions a looong time ago.  I don't see why I should start again with Blogger Resolutions.  Let's go with hopes instead.  They don't sound so ominous.

My hopes for 2014 in regards to blogging is that I get some more enthusiasm back for actually sitting down and typing on my computer.  I still love to read and share books, but it's been very difficult for me to sit and write a review.  I hope it gets easier and soon!

I've also been lagging in the Social Media department and I miss it.  I love talking to people on Twitter and discovering information and where the links will take me.  So I hope to get back on the wagon with that as well.

How about you?  What are your blogging hopes, dreams or resolutions for 2014?

Enthusiasm always seems to be the first thing to go...I fell into a rut for a while. I loved reading, but the blog part of the reading was wearing me down...
Good luck!!!

I have been making the same New Years Resolution for the last 5 years and it's always worked out well for me, my resolution is to not make any New Years Resolutions! Otherwise I feel like a failure because I never keep them!

I hope you find your enthusiasm for writing reviews again (and if you do, share some with me)!

Happy New Year. This year I kept my list reasonable because within weeks I get overwhelmed and never complete them. Happy reading

I hope you find a way for it to be fun again Pam. I'm getting there - my big struggle now is the actual formatting and posting. It drags me down. I want a quick way to review books that's still interesting.

I get all blah all the time, especially when my workload goes insane. It's all about positive thinking.

I hope we both get our blogger groove back, because we're pretty awesome. ;) Happy New Year, Pam!

I keep falling into reading and reviewing ruts, so need to find my mojo again too. I prefer your idea of Hope vs Resolutions, as that takes some of the pressure off. Good luck to us all!

I"ve been feeling much of the same way. I think for me it was because I have been very preoccupied and really stressed at home. But I hope to blog more this year and be more involved! =)

I hear you about enthusiasm, but for me, this challenge does seem to help. Good luck!

Who needs resolutions? We are perfect as we are ;)
Reviewing sure is a pain in the @@ sometimes, but I love being part of the book blogger world, and I want to promote the authors I love a little, so I keep doing it.
Happy New Year to all of you!

@Lexie-Nice to know I'm not alone. Hope you found your enthusiasm.

@Kim-I hope you find your enthusiasm too. I'll let you know if I find the secret ingredient. I don't like making any kind of promises I don't think I can keep.

@Cindy-I think small goals are a good way to keep things manageable.

@Vanessa-Happy New Year to you too!

@Lacey-Thank you so much!

@Karen-I know we've both been struggling for a while now. A quick way to review books that's still interesting sounds like a perfect formula.

@Parajunkee-That is validating that you get "blah" because your blog is not blah at all! I'll try that positive thinkings.

@Kate-Then we can write a book, "How Kate and Pam got their blogger groove back."

@Alexia-I know we all fall into those ruts, but there are some blogs that never seem to! How do they do that???? Hope you work it out as well.

@Mariya-I think stress at home is a very acceptable reason to have blogging fall by the wayside. You have to concentrate on the important things.

@Roberta-Yes, challenges are good prompts to get us going.

@Aurian-Hah! That made me smile. I love being part of teh book blogger world too. I don't think I ever want to leave it.

@Felicia-I try to go with the flow too, but I wish my flow would get a little more creative!
