Book Blog Walkers!

Felicia from The Geeky Blogger's Book Blog came up with a stellar idea to get up and get moving.  It's a very casual challenge for the month of January to walk.  Every day or even one day, it all counts.  I've had off for almost two weeks and I've been getting back on my treadmill almost every day.  So hopefully I can continue and if this gives me even a tiny bit of incentive, then it's worth it.  Click on the link above for details!

The other incentive I use is catching up on tv shows.  I'm almost done with Fringe and then I'll continue with Dexter.

Guess I should stop stuffing my face too!

When the allergies or my knee and ankle aren't knocking me down, I enjoy running. I'm hoping that this year I'll have more good days when I can hit the pavement.

I certainly need to! I did great in October because of the charity walk, but in November my part time job became a full time one, so I stopped walking in the mornings. I'm trying to get back into exercising, and now that I'm in charge of my client's PT, I get on the treadmill whilst she's on the NuStep. At least it's a start! Good luck with your exercises- hopefully I'll get into decent enough shape that we can take BEA by storm!

yes I exercise but I want to do more this coming year. I like this idea a lot :)

@Orchid-I would love to get up to running. Or at the very least, walking fast! lol.

@Kate-That is great that you're getting on the treadmill. Yes, we need to be able to walk must faster at BEA to be early for t hose lines.

@Felicia-LOL! That's okay Felicia...We all have to motivate each other...whether the way we do it is evil or not.

I definitely want to lose weight in 2014. My work is doing a month or so long event on walking 10,000 steps a day. They're sending me a free podometer to track.

That's fabulous that you have a treadmill! I go to the gym to use it ... but it's odd. The gym has TVs in the aerobic room but once they got new machines they never hooked up the equipment so we can listen to the TVs through our headsets anymore. Great progress!
