Book Blogger New Year's Challenge - January 14, 2014.

Book Blogger New Year's Challenge

14. Blogging wish list of 2014.

~I wish for more motivation and energy to write reviews.
~I wish for fantastic ideas to utilize on my blog. (Format, memes, features, designs...anything!)
~I wish to make headway with my TBR pile.
~I wish to have lunch or dinner with Stephen King.
~I wish safe travel for me and my friends to any bookish events.
~I wish to get closer to the blogger friends I do have and to make more.

I don't think I'm over reaching, do you?  What is your wish list for this year?

I share a lot of your wishlist, sometimes life kicks in, the job and all that jazz and it is hard to be creative.
Also I follow a lot of great blogs, I read them and when I get home I say I am going to go comment and then blah its over. Lol. 2014 I am going to try and do better. But can I just say I have a windows phone, it is so challenging to be socially active on one. Lol.

Nah - not over-reaching at all :-) And ditto for dinner with Uncle Stevie!

@Bookswagger - Yes, I agree...that darn real life stuff certainly can impede a well meaning blogger's intentions.

@Felicia - No, I think me and Wendy and you in the same town would be fine. I'm pretty quiet and low key. Plus, I'd be closer to NOLA. : )

@TanyaP-I think those are all reasonable requests.

Naah, not over reaching at all ;P
The reviews is also one of the things I need to be better at actually posting (and not too long after reading a book).

I want to discover more blogs. Especially new ones. A lot of my favorites quit last year.

I want to be a better commenter. That's always a struggle though for everyone I think.

Definitely find a better (meaning easier) way to review!

Knock down more of the TBR pile.

But most of all I'm hoping to maintain what I started last year - being more laid back about the whole thing. It worked and I'm happy so whatever makes me stay in my happy place is good :-)

I think we're of to a great start for 2014, and I'm thinking we'll keep it up. I know that I missed this, reading my blogger friends posts, commenting and tweeting. I'm probably going to do a lot more Short & Tweet reviews in order to keep me from getting overwhelmed.

@Christina-No, I don't think I'm overreaching. Hey anything could happen! Even me starting to post more reviews.

@Karen-Yes, I'm still trying to be more laid back. However, I really need to get more enthused about writing reviews.

Don't think that you're over reaching at all! I'd love to have more energy and motivation (aside from wine & energy drinks, which cause more problems than you'd think). May all of your wishes come true!

Yes, more motivation and energy for writing reviews would be great. :) I think your goals are very doable, Good Luck.

If you ever need motivation, send me a note and I'll send some encouragement your way. That goes for anyone who has participated in this challenge, BTW!
