Create Something Magical Conference (2012).

2012 was my third year attending the Create Something Magical Conference organized and presented by the Liberty State Fiction Writers.  It's always a fun time with informative panels and workshops and friendly people.  This year, the key note speaker was Larissa Ione who also presented a seminar on worldbuilding where she discussed the worlds that she created.   Also new this year was a Reader's Track.

I also got to meet the fabulous Terry Kate from Paco Media who organizes the Book Blogger and Publisher Conference.  Now I can put a face to the voice.

Larissa also gave a very emotional talk at lunch about her long journey to publication. She lost everything in Katrina but with help, support and faith she overcame that tragedy to basically...create something magical.
 
As always, the group from Liberty State Fiction Writers did a wonderful job.
