2012 Book Blogger Recommendation Challenge.
This is a fabulous idea hosted by Jennifer at Reading With Tequila! I've found so many great books via other blogger recommendations. Yet, I still have a ton of these books on my TBR pile, waiting for me to crack them open. So this challenge is perfect.
Jennifer has researched and compiled an awesome comprehensive list of books recommended by book bloggers. I'm happy to see many of my own favorites on the list as well!
I'm going to start with Level I and complete 5 books from the list. My choices are below.
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.
Enclave by Ann Aguirre.
The Passage by Justin Cronin.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor.
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.

This looks like a really fun challenge :) I may have to join!
I read City of Bones and liked it, and I really liked The Passage, even though it's super long and when I bought it I thought it was going to be about zombies... it's not. Still a great novel! Had no idea it was part of a series and I'm dreading trying to re-read that mammoth book by the time the sequel hits the shelves. :) Can't wait to hear what you think of Daughter of Smoke and Bone- it doesn't sound like a book I'd read, but I've only heard how good it is.
I've been hearing about Jennifer in wrap-up posts and have been wondering who she is. :D Because of my 3-month blogging hiatus this year, I don't think I'll be able to join in this challenge. Maybe next year... hopefully!
This actually sounds like a good challenge! But I have a feeling I'm going to choose the wrong books to read!!
xo,
La Toya (La Toya, Literally.)
I have to get to Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I have it but I just wasn't able to get to it in 2011. Ran out of time....
I never thought in a million years that this could happen.I never thought in a million years that my eyes could witness something so tragic.Looking at the souls leaving the bodies of individuals.Looking at the killer machine gun throughout my right peripheral.Looking at the blood and debris covered on everyone faces.Looking at the gunman feet under the stall as he paces. The guilt of feeling lucky to be alive is heavy, it like the weight of the oceans walls crushing uncontrolled by levies.
Lexus NX 300hWant a compact luxury SUV? Cool, you're definitely not alone. Want one that's also T Shirt Design Online a hybrid? Well, dear friend, this is literally your used choice. The good news is, the Lexus NX is actually a pretty solid choice. Say what you will about the Lexus styling (some love, many hate), but it's meticulously built with a beautiful interior. The driving experience is refined, comfortable and surprisingly sharp for a company best known for selling dreary old man's transport. Oh, Design Your Own Shirt and it gets 32 mpg combined versus the low to mid 20's you'd be looking at with everything else.
The main character in Final Destination has a premonition of the crash and escapes with a group of classmates before takeoff, thereby causing death to personally hunt them down one by one. Since then, every sequel has featured a group of people unwittingly caught in that hilarious ripple of Benny Hill deaths including Clothing Designer but not limited to elevator decapitations, tanning accidents, and FATAL GYMNASTICS.
It may seem like an odd choice for Greengrass, an outsider, to tackle this film, which was based on Asne Seierstad book One of Us: The Story of a Massacre in Norway and its Aftermath. But it makes sense when you think about everything that happened around the world, past Norway borders in the seven intervening years since Breivik act.
