Several weeks ago there was an awesome Readathon among the blogging community. I didn't plan well enough to participate, but I enjoyed reading everyone's posts and tweets cheering each other on.
Even though I read a lot, I don't read fast and I tend to get distracted at home, so my casual tweet about how I'm going to do a "self imposed readathon" got Ash from Books From Bleh to Basically Amazing and Savvy from Books with Bite to join me. In fact, Savvy started her own last weekend. She's ambitious!
We plan to have our Self Imposed Readathon from Friday to Sunday, May 13th-May 15th. (Oooh Friday the 13th! Awesome! A lucky day for Horror fans!) We have no set rules, no set number of books, no set hours. This is simply to get our TBR piles down, even if it's just a little bit.
The only thing we plan to do is Tweet the title and time when we start a book and when we finish. We'll be using hash tag #readathon3, so feel free to join us, follow along, give us encouragement or poke fun at us (in a nice way of course).
Here is the book pile that I'll be working from. I don't know which ones I'll be diving into yet or how many I'll get through. It depends on my mood and what I can get into. I read the way I blog, flying by the seat of my pants. #CuzThatsHowIRoll.

YAY! Super excited! I got three book down this past weekend. But I am glad to see there is a smalldent in my tbr pile. I hope I do better this weekend!!

Lol!! That is exactly how I am! I cannot predict what I'm going to read because I have no idea what I'll be in the mood for next!
I would love to join in too, unfortunately I am supposed to be studying, but will definitely try and read a bit.

Good luck with your reads. I would have a hard time picking which book to start with.
