I love the Book Blogger Hop. It's really amazing how many book blogs there are and each time I participate I always find a great new blog and have a few people stop by my blog as well. This meme is hosted by Crazy For Books. Please check out her blog for complete rules.
This week's question is: How do you spread the word about your blog? (e.g. Social Networking sites, Book Blog directories, comments on other blogs...)"
Answer: I have to admit I don't promote my site as much as other bloggers out there. I admire the way my savvy co-bloggers handle Twitter and seem to be able to manage their time so well writing posts, interviewing authors, participating in challenges, holding contests, having on-line chat parties...phew! I'm tired just thinking about all of it!
I try to post on Twitter and Facebook as much as I can, but I have to admit that while I think it would be great to have a large following, I'm more interested in the process and "journey" of my blog. I want to write as well as I can and present unique, fun and interesting content. Although I don't have a large following - which is okay, really, don't feel bad for me ; ) - there are several people who have given me great feedback and wonderful support. The biggest and most pleasant surprise that came with blogging is the relationships I have built, and am still building, with people who love books and reading and the blogging experience as much as I do.

Thank you for checking out my blog. After reading your profile, I'm amazed at how much you read! I wish I could. Maybe then I'd catch up on my list.
Hi from a hopper,
I think as long as you're enjoying your blogging time and feeling good about your blog then the amount of followers doesn't matter. It all boils down to if you're satisfied and in some cases people can have a huge following and yet not be happy with their blog.
I also read during the commercials and you have yourself one new follower.
Hope you're having a great weekend.
Hi there, *waves*
Just hopping through via hop! Lovely blog you have here! This week I trying really hard to reach 400 followers so for every follower I get they will get one too! Hop on over!
Til next time,

Hey Happy HOP !! It's all about how you feel in the end and you do what feels right for you and your creative process. There are so many differnt ways to do things so it's fine to take the time to see what works for you. Me, it works for me to take part in weekly activities and visit all blogs that take part in it. :)
I also came by to TAG you. I was given an award/activity to help people get to know me and the people I pass it to. If you're ok with this, click on my name and it'll take you to the post with the information :)

Hi. Found your blog through the hop. :)
I just signed up for Twitter last night - waiting to see how that works out. I really like FaceBook and Goodreads and I am always open to book suggestions.

Have a great weekend.

when I saw you did Horror and Paranormal I had to stop by and say hi! All month I"m featuring scary books so you should stop by and add links to your reviews.
I agree the networking is exhausting, though I don't twitter yet (that seems like a huge commitment to me!), I do do the contests and interviews. They're not a huge investment of time but do take some organizing.
Please stop by, I love to see your horror suggestions!

Just hoppin' on by! <3
I'm a new book blogger, so I have no idea what I'm doing. I try to tweet, but I feel like my attempts are so transparent that people KNOW I'm trying to network.
So mostly I just visit other blogs and comment on their reviews or content, and I end up making friends that way. :D
But I totally agree with you -- I had NO idea how some other bloggers can manage their time so well between reading, interviews, guest posts, reviews, tweeting, and other forms of social networking all at the same time. I'm strapped on time so much, and I'm sure it reflects in my blog. xD
My hop :3
