Well I hope to...I'm actually going to New Orleans for the
Authors After Dark Convention and will then be staying an extra few days with my friend. I love deep sea fishing and I've always wanted to try it in the Gulf of Mexico. I like to discover one new thing each time I go to the Crescent City and maybe I'll be able to check this off my list during this visit. Unfortunately, the tours that I've found are upward of about $200.00! I'm hoping once I get down there, I'll be able to scout something out or, it will have to wait until next time.
I'm kind of worried about the heat, since I don't do well in hot, humid weather. I basically hide in the summer. However, I am looking forward to hanging out with some blogger buddies, meeting admired authors and soaking up the atmosphere in the French Quarter.
I'm not sure how much I'll be able to blog during my vacation, but I do hope to get some reading done, take lots of pictures and have tons of stuff to report once I get back.
